What's Going On?
It's been a hell of a week!
We've been busy heading off around the place doing interviews, planning our campaign and releasing bits and pieces to make sure it stays relevant and exciting. We've also recently just his the £900 mark, which is incredibly honoring and exciting! I am grateful for anyone who has contributed, you're amazing, and for anyone who is considering or interested in contributing, thank you too. Every little helps and you can do so by following the link here.

Themes and Questions
So, we've launched the campaign and we've already raised 1% of our goal in 2 days, which is pretty damn awesome if I don't say so myself! But, obviously, we want more people to donate, because we want to hit that target, so I thought I'd give you all a little insight into just exactly what we're asking you to contribute to.
I mean, we're asking a question here, and it's a big one: what is Follow The Crows?

IN THE BEGINNING...
Max Curtis in Follow The Crows |
As I'm sure most of you are aware by now, we'll be launching our funding campaign on the 30th of this month. For those of you who are interested, or want to know more, click here to the event.
So today I'm just going to talk a little bit about what got us to this point. As we approach the end of the line, as it were, I'd like you all to know where we began. Of course more information will be put out there the closer we get to Friday, but for now, here's all you need to know!

The Cliff
Well this is an odd feeling. We're almost done.
Yep, that's right. I mean, we still have our ADR to do, and we still have our music to do, but for the most part, we're almost done. All that's left now if to begin the funding campaign.

What's In A Theme?
What makes a good theme song?
It's a question man has asked since first he crawled out of the primordial ooze... okay, that might be a bit of an exaggeration, but it's still something people have occasionally wondered. What seperates a Ghostbusters from a Bodyguard, or a Live and Let Die from a, urgh, Die Another Day?

Talking Bad
Shooting interviews is a bit of a weird experience. And not just because I have to shoot my own myself, meaning that I set up the camera and then speak to no one for a few minutes in the hopes that it looks professional and like I'm answering questions, not just being crazy in my bedroom.
No, they're odd because you're asking people to tell you about something you were there for. It's bizarre, because you already know the answers to the questions. You already know what they're going to say, and it's a bit like a formality. It's akin to small talk, in a way.

Back on Set
It's always nice to get back out there and film, even if it is just a quick one. Recently we shot some stuff for our funding campaign, just some little "shorts" to keep the momentum going and release information while we ask for donations. So, nothing spectacular... unless you consider that kind of thing awe-inspiring.
But, I have to say, it was really, really nice to be back shooting with some of the guys from Follow The Crows. We had Max Curtis and Ashley Robson on hand as well as myself and Marcus Starr, the producer. We shot a few little things, all in once location, and a lot of it was improvised, but something struck me as we were filming.
